Legal Basis for Registration
Pursuant to Section 72 of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act, 2020 (Act 1023), the National Teaching Council offers temporary registration for persons without the requisite teacher education who desire to teach in approved schools or institutions.
Section 72(3): "A person registered on a temporary register shall practise only in an approved school or institution."
Section 60(h): The Council may issue temporary certification to persons who without the requisite teacher education, desire to teach.
